Amy Bakes Cupcakes

Amy made mini cupcakes for our daughter's wedding. She was excellent in helping us decide on 3 types from all the wonderful selections she had. If only she hadn't already been booked with another event and been able to deliver ours on the actual wedding day. But I begged and she accomodated by making them a day early! Thanks Amy!

Let me just start out by saying yuuuuuuuum! My husband and I live in the bay area but we were able to taste test her little pieces of cupcake heaven before deciding at Granada Castro I believe it was? We were sold! We made arrangements for flavors, colors, numbers, delivery all via email. It was done with ease. However there were a few details requested which were overlooked or adjusted without my previous awareness being made. The biggest one being that my cursive R topped was never placed on the top cake. When we noticed this my moh continuously attempted reaching Amy with no luck. She emailed me an apology and refunded the cost of the top cake but needlessly to say I was very bummed. Especially because she requested she have the topper ahead of time specificaly whereas if we would have saved ourselves a trip it would have been where it needed to be. Nevertheless our florist improvised and we all survived. Nobody's perfect and we would still try her again! And we recommend you do too! Just maybe hold on to your cake topped? ;)

If you have never tasted one of Amy's cupcakes, then you must make it a priority to do so very soon!! People are still talking about the cupcakes at our wedding 2.5 months ago. They were exceptional, no question about it. They were vegan because my husband is allergic to dairy, but you would never know that they were. We had 3 flavors to compliment our "farmer's market/spanish food" menu. They blackbery chocolate port, strawberries and cream, and peppermint patty. Amazing!

My daughter wanted vegan cupcakes, and Amy did a fantastic job of making the cupcakes. People asked me afterward if they were really vegan because they were so tasty. I would recommend Amy's cupcakes as a great choice for any wedding. The "cutting cake" was perfect for the top tier and everyone was able to sample several different mini cupcakes that we ordered. This is a great way to serve cake at a wedding and cuts down on the cost since we didn't have to pay to have a cake cut and served!
