Coastal Events

James was awesome. I was very particular about what song I wanted coming down the aisle...I wanted a certain part of a song looped and then a certain part to play when I started coming down the aisle. He did everything to perfection. He even played every song on a playlist for dinner, that I sent very late the night before the wedding. He knew our venue very well, and thus knew where everything should go, and how and where to set up. He even helped my sister in law with planning out a flash mob she had planned as a surprise for me. James helped to make our night perfect.

Thanks so much James for providing amazing DJ services for our wedding. We were so last minute with EVERYTHING and you were so patient and everything turned out perfect! Our guests raved about how great you were and we could not have been more pleased. THANKS!!!

Brandon and I interviewed many wedding DJs before we came across Coastal Events. We almost gave up and were very discouraged and stressed out because we knew if we did not pick a good DJ within our budget it could make or break the entire experience. Brandon and I could not have been happier with the quality of service James and his staff from Coastal Events provided us. It was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL!! He was on top of everything and as a bride (who planned almost the entire wedding by herself) I did not have to worry one second about what was discussed or planned. This was a HUGE plus and meant so much to me. I was able to enjoy our wedding day stress free because I had someone reliable to provide us wonderful entertainment and ensure everything went smoothly and on time. If something needed to be changed at the last minute he had it covered. During the entire process he was responsive and extremely helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ, he definitely made our day that much more special! I would highly recommend him to anyone. He is truly the best for ANY event big or small. James Reed was just fantastic! We were so happy with the music at our wedding, everyone was dancing and having a good time. He got the grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, moms, dads and everyone else on that dance floor! Plus, he was such a professional through the whole year of planning. He answered everyone of my emails and called me back every time I left him a message. We were so happy we booked him!

Where to start... first the DJ was great. He played a great variety of music which kept a lot of our guests dancing. He also kept the groom and myself informed when he was planning on doing something that would involve us.We used Rebecca for the day of coordinating. She was great! We met with her about two weeks before the wedding and she really helped us out with our day of time line. From then on she took care of dealing with the vendors which was really nice because I didn't want to anymore. The day of was really hectic, but I think she did a good job of keeping us mostly on track.John was our engagement and wedding photographer. He is absolutely wonderful. He is very easy going which takes the edge off of having your picture taken. And his pictures are just absolutely stunning. I like his work so much that I'm planning on hiring him to take my Sister's maternity photos.The services were also at a great price since they all work for the same company.

Coastal Events was fantastic! Very professional, attentive, and made our night one to remember!

Everything was just how we imagined it and the lighting really set the mood dramatically!

James was amazing -- we started working with him just two days before our actual wedding after a rather unfortunate review of our venue's sound system. James was able to meet us at the venue, assisted us with sound for our ceremony and reception and kept the events moving and the party rolling. We were finally able to relax knowing that he was taking care of things. John was also our photographer and he was equally as fabulous. We have great shots of our wedding and the family has amazing new photos for the wall. He worked long and hard to get an amazing shot of the nieces and nephews... each of them already have it on their Facebook pages and the parents have all put in their order requests for the print. Thank you both for making our day extra special and allowing us to actually enjoy it!

Everything was absolutely perfect! James so easy to work with we got everything we asked for and more! I highly recommend coastal events they go over and beyond expectations. Worth every penny.

We almost weren't going to have video, since most people seem to never watch their wedding videos anyway, but thought if we could find someone who was within our (limited) budget, we'd go with it. We found Rebecca through the photographer we'd selected, as they work together for the same event service company. All our correspondence was via e-mail until our wedding day when I met her very briefly. For what we paid, I was expecting a very raw basic video with maybe one camera angle and no editing in a plain package, which would have been fine. When we received the video, we were pleasantly surprised with many things. It arrived in an envelope printed with hearts, the video case has one of our wedding photos on it as did the disc itself, it had an actual title/opening, must have been shot from at least 3 different angles and appeared reasonably edited, and she remembered my husband is from Scotland but his family couldn't make it, so she included a DVD formatted for British disc players/computer. Overall very happy with her service, and we've already watched the video twice!

James Reed was the best DJ anyone could of asked for, he played a great variety of music! He also did a great job with keeping us on time and was a pleasure to work with. He really contributed to making my day just perfect!!!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! I cannot give enough praise for Coastal Events. They truly saved the day at our wedding. After an unpleasant experience with a different DJ company, Coastal Events came to the rescue and helped make our wedding day perfect. Every guest commented on how wonderful our DJ was and how much fun they had. Coastal Events went above and beyond to make our wedding the special day it was meant to be. I can't thank Coastal Events enough for everything they have done for us, we will never forget your kindness and dedication.

James was our DJ and so much more! He really took the time to get to know us so he could make great suggestions for our music. In addition to playing music that suited us all day, he planned out the timing for the wedding, organized the rehearsal and helped make our entire day run smoothly. Our family and friends all agreed with us that the music was "us" and every one had a great time dancing (even those who almost never get off their chairs)! James, John and Rebecca at Coastal Events were wonderful! They all did exactly what was asked of them, as well as offering their own suggestions which helped tremendously! They have worked together at our wedding location many times before, so they needed no instruction at all! James was great to work with. Since we didn't have a coordinator, he really stepped up to make sure nothing fell through the cracks all the way from the rehearsal to the end of the reception. He did a wonderful job combining our music preferences with what he knew would work for the crowd and everyone had a great time on the dance floor because of it. Our wedding had many unexpected circumstances but they went with the flow and pulled off an amazing day! I would highly recommend each of the services I utilized!
