Dawn was awesome to work with and our cake was delicious and beautiful! We took her recommendation of the 'Hummingbird Cake' for one of our tiers (we loved all of them too much and couldn't decide) and it was SO GOOD. I can't wait to eat the rest of it next year :) Highly recommend and extremely reasonably priced for amazing quality.

Dawn did an amazing job with our cake. We booked her 3 weeks before our wedding and showed her a picture of how we wanted our cake to look. The cake she made looked better than the picture we showed her.
The cake was a big hit with all of our guests. Everyone complimented us on how great the cake tasted. We were extremely delighted with how everything turned out, from the way it tasted to the way it looked. We would definitely recommend Decadence cakes.

Decadence Cakes provided beautiful and delicious cakes for our wedding! Usually wedding cake is dry and tasteless, but not from Decadence. We did a tasting and loved all the flavors, but narrowed it down to 2. The hummingbird cake is so yummy! We got to design our cake with Dawn Peters and pick out the colors, shape, etc. It was so fun! Dawn is very professional and talented. I asked if she could help me surprise my groom with a groom's cake and she nailed it! The groom loves Captain Morgan and diet coke and she made a cake in a coke bottle shape with the Captian Morgan and Diet Coke design on the top. Everyone loved it and it had a Captain Morgan rum flavor. Thank you Decadence for providing superior products and service!

We used Dawn for our June Wedding and she was GREAT to work with! We had a smaller wedding cake and 4 other southern style cakes (as a nod to my husbands Louisiana upbringing) and she did an outstanding job! We got rave reviews from our guests about the cakes and there wasn't ANY left over at the end of the night! Dawn even did our Grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner and she hit that one out of the park! We did a New Orleans Saints football cake for him and Dawn did a great job on it! From the first time we met Dawn for the tasting (which she graciously included my 7 year old niece in so it was a really fun experience for us!) I have enjoyed working with her. She is extremely professional and I can honestly say she makes the best cakes I've ever had! :)

Dawn was incredible to work with. When we tasted with her, the cakes were delicious, plus she made it so easy to understand all the options. Our cake turned out beautifully and she did exactly what we wanted. We received so many great compliments on how it looked and how it tasted - which was really important to us! One of our favorite moments of our wedding weekend was digging into the leftover cake the day after our wedding - it was delicious! Thank you!

Dawn did several small desserts in addition to my wedding cake. The cannoli were amazing as were her fruit tarts and decadence diamonds. The decor was matched well to the photo I gave her and she set everything up beautifully. I had the cheesecake and carrot cake as my tier flavors. Both flavors were tasty and they were delicious when combined. Dawn had a quick response to my email and gave different suggestions to make the look and set-up of my desserts perfect.

Dawn was very professional in all services! The quality and taste of her cake/cupcakes was excellent and so affordable! I also appreciated she worked directly with our event coordinator - one less detail that my husband and I had to worry about.

Dawn is an expert chef, the cake was to die for. Just wish she would have looked at her notes about our cake and asked my soon-to-be husband for the cake topper, since he forgot to give it to her when he dropped off the flowers for decorating the cake, or asked me for the topper when she was setting up the cake at the wedding.

Solvang didn't have many selections for wedding cake vendors but we came across the best pastry chef in town, Dawn! Unfortunately, because of the little competition the prices are a bit high and so for the bride & groom on a budget Decadence may surprise you. It was a bit of a rough start with getting in touch with Dawn but overall in the end, our guests loved our cake...I loved my chocolate galore cake...lol...and the decorations were beautiful. Fit for our vineyard theme...if you have the budget Decadence is the best in town!!! The consultation itself will speak for itself....plenty, plenty of selections...options...

When we went in for our cake tasting, everything was so amazing we couldn't choose just one flavor so we went with two! It's one thing to imagine what the cake will look like in your head, but when I actually saw my cake at my wedding, I was blown away. It was exactly what I wanted but 10x better in person. Fabulous job. I would definitely work with Decadence again!
