Edna Valley Vineyard

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Edna Valley, and it was incredible. It was about 2 weeks ago and my family and guests are still raving about it! Not only was it a beautiful location but the service and attention to detail must be noted. The event manager is the best I've ever worked with (and I was an event planner, so that's saying alot!). They made everything so easy and seamless. We had our reception outside under an incredible tent with the over head lighting over the non-stop dance floor. I would recommend this site to everyone. We originally invited 230 with the final count at 170 and they were able to accommodate whatever we threw at them. Being an event planner as well as a bride, you an imagine "letting go" of those final details can be hard, but it couldn't have been easier. They surpassed my expectations all around. Best wedding anyone has been too...and we couldn't be happier!! :)

It's been 2 weeks since our wedding, and we can't stop looking at all the pictures! My husband and I met at Cal Poly 5 years ago, so we thought a destination wedding in SLO (we now live in the Bay Area) was the perfect location (it also happened to be a nice halfway point for our families). We looked at about 5 venues in SLO, but none of them compared to Edna Valley Vineyard. The vineyard was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception, but on top of that, the level of service and professionalism we received during the planning stages and on the wedding day was unbelievable. Tina, the event coordinator, assured us that she was in charge and would make sure we had the best day of our lives, and boy she was right! We had a few last minute changes, but Tina was always there to get things straightened out and take away the stress. The wedding day itself was magical. We were able to fit all of our guests inside the dining room, so we had the cocktail tables, dance floor, and bar outside. The weather was perfect (I was scared of rain in October, but alas, there wasn't a cloud in the sky! Just a bit windy, but it made for cool pictures with my veil floating around). Many of our guests had never been to the vineyard, and were taken back by the breathtaking views of the vineyards from the tasting room and dining room. Some people even said it looked like a photograph. All in all, we had such an amazing time, as well as all of our guests. If you're looking for a beautiful and serene place to get married on the Central Coast, I highly recommend Edna Valley!

Edna Valley Vineyard is really special. Though the weather out there can be a bit unpredictable (wind especially) it is very much worth the price. I had my wedding ceremony out there (reception at The Cliffs) and happened to have a day with the most incredible, perfect weather. It was gorgeous. We have amazing photos from that location. Tina was very easy to work with - she really knows her stuff! My guests had an absolute blast out there even for the sort time they were there. We got LOTS of compliments. The service was great. They were great to my vendors, and a pleasure to work with. Overall, if they are in your price range, you will not be disappointed. We did not want a typical hotel ballroom wedding, and had been looking at a number of ocean-front facilities, however nothing felt quite right. My groom suggested we visit Edna Valley as a potential rehearsal dinner spot, but from the moment we parked the car, I knew this was the place. The space is unique, with indoor and outdoor options, and the views are breathtaking, no matter where you are on the property. Best of all, you get Tina Hoppe as your coordinator, and with her at the helm, nothing will go wrong. She was so much fun to work with, while also being completely in control- planning was so easy, and she kept our rehearsal and wedding running smoothly and perfectly from start to finish- and we had a wild, rowdy group! She helped make our wedding exactly what we hoped it would be, and more, while providing excellent vendor recommendations. The views, the outdoor space and Tina sold us on Edna Valley immediately- I never once wished we'd chosen an ocean view! In the end, we were blown away by how incredible our wedding was, and months later guests are still gushing about it- we've heard over and over it was the best wedding they've ever attended!

My husband and I were married at Edna Valley Vineyard in October 2010. Our experience was amazing from the start. We cannot say enough positive things about Tina, Elayne, and their team. They are highly organized, very professional, and know how to make a celebration a success. The setting speaks for itself, and Tina and Elayne make the rest happen. They work well with other vendors; the experience with Edna Valley, our caterer (Pacific Harvest), DJ (Kramer Entertainment), photographer (David Pascolla), florist (Festive Designs), and guest transportation (American Star) was seamless. Our wedding ceremony and reception were exactly what we wanted - our top priority was for our guests to have wonderful experiences, and they truly enjoyed every moment at Edna Valley. We feel like part of the Edna Valley family now and love to pop in whenever we're visiting family in the area!

Tina Hoppe at Edna made our wedding day FABULOUS! Because of all her hard work, the day was smooth and flawless. She handled every problem (extreme wind and last minute add ons) quickly and thoughtfully. She answered all of my many many questions leading up to the wedding through email and meetings, which put me at ease when the day arrived. Tina worked very well with all of my vendors and made sure everyone was in the loop. All I had to do was show up and enjoy the day...which I did to the fullest!!!!!! I am so very appreciative of the entire Edna staff who helped make our wedding so memorable and fun for all of our family and friends. I strongly recommend Edna for your ceremony and/or reception...you will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Insane! This was one of our most important vendors. It was very important to us to have great food not typical wedding food that was boring and bland. With Epic the food and service was excellent! We couldn't be happier with our choice of caterer. Our first meeting with them was last minute but they squeezed us in anyway. We only had time for appetizers and wow were they delicious. We set another appointment for a full tasting and knew if the rest of the food was as good as the apps we were done! Of course that was the case. Not only was the food delicious but the service from planning to the actual big day was impeccable. They were very helpful and patient with the decision making and many changes of tablescaping and menu design. They really listened to us and made everything come together beautifully! We couldn't have done it without them! Everyone is still talking about the food a month and a half later. We are so pleased!

Our wedding reception was at Edna Valley last month. My wife & I both felt that the very best feature of the Edna Valley experience was Tina Hoppe. From the moment the door opened on the limo, she was there ensure every detail was attended to and nothing interfered with our perfect day. No matter what happened, she was on top of it. At one point she even sewed up a broken bustle on my wife's dress. We can't say enough good things about her! And of course the winery itself was beautiful. We loved the wines (the Mourvedre was a huge hit), the venue, the staff, the view, and everything else. There are so many things that can go wrong at a wedding reception, but we both knew she wouldn't let anything happen, and that put us at total ease.

Edna Valley Vineyard is THE place to get married! I would tell anyone to get married there, even if they hadn't pictured their dream wedding at a vineyard. If you get married here, You will never regret it! I just got married in July and It was the most beautiful wedding! Not only is it a beautiful location, but the staff and Tina Hoppe will ensure that NOTHING goes wrong at your wedding. 2 months after the wedding, I still have people coming up to me and saying how much they loved our wedding! They couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous it was and how great the service was. I couldn't be happier about how everything went. What bride wants to worry about things going right on her wedding day? No one, and Tina will ensure that you don't have to worry about a thing. She is So fun and great to get along with. We had our very large, 100 person, Rehearsal Dinner at Edna Valley Vineyard and it was absolutely fabulous. Tina was so energetic and full of ideas, she left no detail undiscussed, and was a pleasure to work with. Our guests were greeted at the door with a glass of sauvignon blanc, and we had various food stations set up all over the winery. We had use of the entire building, patio, and lawns at a very affordable price because we elected to serve heavy hors d'oeurves paired with various Edna wines rather than a formal seated dinner. Those who traveled here appeared to be more impressed by this location than even that of our cliff-side wedding location on the beach. The wine country is just so unique. Edna Valley Vineyard did a wonderful, professional job on our event.

Edna Valley was where my husband & I spent our first weekend together - and six years later, we were married there. This past weekend, my husband set up a surprise anniversary renewal of our vows. This year and last year, Tina was wonderful, full of energy and good humor. She truly is the heart and soul of the events at Edna Valley, and a wonderful person to know. As for the venue itself, our pictures and videos turned out splendidly (We even had a bagpiper that came out of the vines during the ceremony!). The grounds at Edna Valley are unparalleled in their beauty, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and we will never regret our decision to marry there.

My husband and I knew for years that Edna Valley was the spot where we would eventually marry. It is the perfect venue: the location and views are incredible, the wine is fabulous. We booked it immediately and had the best experience working with Tina and the events team. They know how to run an event at this venue unlike any other. Tina answered every question we had on the spot and provided great advice, particularly as an out of town couple. It was almost too easy. Tina works directly with the vendors ad on the day of the wedding you do not have to think about a thing, its all taken care of with the utmost organization and professionalism. If there is anyone who knows the venue and how to manage an event, it is the staff at Edna Valley. And as for the location...well, that is a no brainer - its beautiful.

We went to Edna Valley to purchase our wines and we got a Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat Canelli and a Pinot and they were all very good and complimented our dinner well - we had the wedding catered by mama's meatball of San Luis Obispo.

I have no way of fitting everything into such a small space!! Everything from begining to end was absolutely perfect. Tina and her team are amazing, professional, efficiant, sincere, and a real joy to work with. There was not one thing that was not thought of, planned for, and taken care of. The venue and all it includes is amazing. The winery and staff are more than helpful, they really do take the stress out of planning and they put their all into making sure your day is perfect and special in every way. The views are some of the best around and will make for a wonderful setting not only for your special day, but for many memories to come.

The view from this place is incredable. Some of the pictures looked like we were standing in front of a back drop. After the winery closes at 5 pm you have the whole place to yourself. Our ceremony was at 4 and they did a great job of making sure we didnt have any wedding crashers. They worked well with all of our vendors. For the price you get the whole location (not just part of it), tables, chairs, linens, dishs, patio furniture, heaters, everything. No need to higher additional vendors for this stuff. There 2 planners there were professional and helped us every step of the way. She almost seems to rush you out the door during the meeting, but that is because she is so organized she doesnt need much time. I was disappointed that the lead planner was not there on our wedding day (I am unsure why), but her assistant did a perfect job anyway so we didnt have any complaints. The location if very clean, very easy to find for all your guests, and its is a beautiful surrounding. They also provided the beer and wine for the reception, all a reasonable prices. Expect to spend more on wine then what you plan though, because there wine is very good. Ask the planner what venders she recommends, we pretty much went with everybody she recommended and had no complaints.

We got married at Edna Valley Vineyard 3 years ago. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to get married in SLO county. The setting is gorgeous, the wine is wonderful, Tina Hoppe is amazing, and you really get a lot for your money. I felt so relaxed on my wedding day because I knew Tina was there to help. She is an asset. Such a wealth of knowledge and happy to recommend vendors if you need a little help. Our wedding guests commented on how smoothly everything ran and how much fun they had.

We had the best experience with Edna Valley Vineyard! Tina, our event coordinator, made our wedding so easy to plan. She was always able to be reached and she had great ideas. She delivered everything she promised and much more. I would recommend this venue to everyone! It is a beautiful location and you will have memories to last a lifetime!

This is a gorgeous venue for a ceremony and reception. It is intimate and the views are truly magical so your wedding photos should be spectacular. There is a panoramic room (with awesome views of the vines) that we used to seat our guests for our dinner and music and the garden outside is precious and well manicured, great for a ceremony. The grass is green and lush and the plants are in-bloom most of the year. Since our wedding was the day before Easter we booked the venue the next day also, Sunday, and did a Brunch with an Easter Egg hunt for all the family that came from afar for our wedding. The event coordinator at this venue is very energetic, organized, personable, friendly and is like a member of the family. She also has a great sense of humor. Parking is also very convenient. The weather in San Luis Obispo can't be beat.
