Looking for a photographer can be overwhelming and fortunately I was referred to Jessica Lewis by both colleagues and friends, and I got the opportunity to meet Jessica Lewis at a Bridal Show. We fell in love with Jessica's work and and style, and were really happy with the shots that she and her assistant captured at our wedding. Would definitely recommend!!!

Absolutely incredible! I first saw Jessica's website and immediately fell in LOVE with her gift for photography! I then emailed her and was able to meet with her at her home to discuss the options for shooting at my wedding. I was on a bit of a budget so I chose one of her associate photographers, who's name is Jenni! I cannot say enough about their work! Jenni made me feel so comfortable and calm on my wedding day and she took BEAUTIFUL pictures! I am not somebody who likes to be in front of the camera... But WOW, she was very creative and really captured each and every moment of the wedding! From the details, to spontaneous moments, to romantics, to the basics. Every picture I've seen thus far is incredible! Also, Jessica Lewis does all of the editing, color work, etc. and which really makes each and every picture POP! They are flawless and I could not be more happy with our decision. Jessica took an ordinary photo and turned it into a piece of art! My husband and I have never looked so good!! If you are looking for a creative, organized and professional photographer who will show you shots that you have never seen before, then I highly recommend Jessica! You will not be disappointed!My husband and I got married in Santa Barbara at a private estate. Leading up to the wedding, Jessica contacted me and let me know that I needed to put together a list of shots that I wanted to make sure were taken the day of the wedding. This was actually the first time that I had even thought about it and was very thankful that she brought it up. It gave me some time to really think about what shots where important to me - definitely something that I didn't want to have to worry about on my wedding day. Once I submitted my shot list, Jessica was quite straight forward with me and made it clear that my shot list was a bit ambitious given the time frame that we had to work with. I really appreciated her advise, because I obviously had some shots with family that I would have hated to have to skip due to time constraints. Jessica's assistance getting the shot list and timing together is a big reason why our wedding day ran smoothly (and, we got all of the shots we wanted!).Jessica had never been to the private residence where the wedding was held. She and her assistant arrived a half hour early and scoped out the place. When it was time for pictures, Jessica was assertive with things that needed to get done, but still let me do my thing with my bridemaids. I immediately felt comfortable around Jessica. It was obvious that she knew exactly what she was doing, and I basically just did whatever she asked! We had a large wedding party (seven groomsmen and bridesmaids), and despite everyone being pretty excited to get to cocktail hour, Jessica was able to direct everyone and keep them focused long enough to get some great shots! Her creativity is truly amazing! She put us in unique formations, but never made us feel awkward! Jessica Lewis is an extremely talented photographer with a very natural unique and beautiful style. All of her work is absolutely stunning!! She is very professional and her personality just adds to your very special day. She was able to make me feel at ease on my wedding day and I felt as those one of my best friends was capturing our day. I should also add that she is extrememly organized (i.e., she checked out our location before the wedding day and sent detailed lists to finalize all family pictures etc.) and everything just falls into place on the big day. She was hands down our favorite vendor and we feel so lucky to have found her! xoxo

We were referred to Jessica by our friends that used her for their wedding. One of the pictures that Jessica took of us was so nice, that we decided to ask for a meeting with her about our own wedding. Instead of rambling on too much... Pros:- Very flexible in style. Whatever style you had in mind for your wedding, she can do it. We asked her for particular shots, and she was able to get them done for us.- She is professional. She met with us to discuss what we had in mind at our wedding location, and she even scouted the area beforehand to bring up some photo location ideas. - ALL the photos we received turned out nicely. A lot of work was done to make each picture look just right (contrast, lighting, etc) We have friends that deal with imaging software and they told us that Jessica did a good job.- Album turned out great. She helped us do our album, and honestly I am speechless on how nice it turned out. My Wife is happy with the album, and that's all that matters to me.Cons:- What cons?For the other person that wrote a negative comment, they must be disgruntled for other issues. The Jessica we met multiple times was the best. She was our first vendor that we secured, and after one meeting with her, you will agree that she MUST do your wedding too. We have referred her to multiple friends, and already one has used her service just this year (2009).

I work in creative advertising and had very high expectations for my wedding photos and I'm thrilled to say that Jessica Lewis delivered in every way! If you want photos that are beautiful, artistic and natural, hire her immediately. She has a wonderful eye for composition and lighting - she uses creative backgrounds and plays with natural and artificial light in a way that is totally surprising. Most importantly, she captured the mood and emotions of our wedding day. On top of fabulous photos, Jessica was a pleasure to work with and was able to blend in seamlessly and unobtrusively at our wedding, get stoic folks to smile and make camera-shy people comfortable. It's obvious she loves what she does and it absolutely shows in the quality of her work. My husband and I feel so lucky to have found her and recommend Jessica without hesitation - we would use her again in a heartbeat.

Jessica is wonderful! Not only did she shoot our wedding, she also did our engagement photos. She was prompt and very professional at both events.
