LunaBella makeup & hair

Christin, Ashley, and Celene of LunaBella did my hair and makeup (as well as my mom's and my friends) for my wedding day, and they were simply outstanding. If I could give them 10 stars, I would - seriously!I had multiple trial runs with different make-up artists and cosmetic counters before I found LunaBella - my main issue was that I wanted to look like myself on my wedding day, and I felt that most of the makeup artists I tried out made me look too "made-up," despite my telling them that I wanted a natural look. In fact, before I found LunaBella (on yelp!), I had resolved to just do my own hair and makeup for my wedding...Ashley and Christin completely listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted - we all (me, my mom, and my friends) looked like better versions of ourselves! Everyone was thrilled with how they looked. Aside from Ashley and Christin's creative expertise, they bring a good energy with them, I can't explain it....they have a really positive and peaceful aura that is wonderful to be around on your wedding day. And they are efficient too - they had time to "touch up" my fiance's sunburned nose....they were amazing!! Ashley and Christin know their stuff, and it shows. I highly, highly recommend them.

I got married in the Santa Barbara area a few weeks ago and used LunaBella for my hair/makeup as well as my mom's and about 6 bridesmaids. Ashley was SO responsive throughout the planning process and responded to questions by email, sent me timelines to review, etc. Brittany did my hair and make-up and was AMAZING. We had 3 LunaBella girls there, including Ashley, and all of them were on time, friendly and amazingly talented. I have been a bridesmaid more times than I can count and honestly considered not offering hair and makeup to my 'maids because I have never been thrilled with hair and make-up for other weddings... but every single bridesmaid LOVED how she looked and they all look model gorgeous by the time Luna Bella was done with them! Two girls had said they would prefer to do their own and then changed their mind when they saw how pretty all the others looked, which Ashley accomodated gracefully and still finished everyone ontime! Even now as pictures are rolling in I'm noticing how beutiful everyone looks - glam hair, fabulous lashes and flawless skin. I can't recommend the LunaBella girls any more highly!

Ashley and Christin are an amazing team! They were so incredibly flexible and open to my ideas and with scheduling for my hair and make-up trial and on wedding day. They did hair and make-up for me, my mom, and my matron of honor, and we all looked amazing! They are so friendly and fun to be around too! I definitely recommend working with them to get your dream style for your wedding day!

Ashley and Christin were the best! Using LunaBella for my makeup and hair for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. Both of them are friendly and listen to what you want. They take your ideas and bring them to life. All of my bridesmaids and wedding party that got their hair and/or makeup done with them told me how great they were. My maid of honor came in the day of the wedding with huge, frizzy hair and the end result was smooth and sleek - just beautiful! My end result made me feel like a model. I met Ashley and Christin at a bridal fair in Santa Barbara...now that I think about it, they were the FIRST of all of our wedding vendors we met! Anyway, they were so sweet, and I liked their energy, and their quality of work. I have mixed hair (I am Black and Filipino) and am very particular of who does my hair because of so many bad experiences in the past; they were able to work with my hair and they did an excellent job! On the day of the wedding, they were on time and EXTREMELY efficient! My bridesmaids looked beautiful and I was so happy with my makeup and hair that day! We had about 10 people doing hair and makeup and we were done AHEAD of schedule. They were extremely calm, laid back and in control...they are truly professionals and I am SO HAPPY with them. Overall I had an awesome experience! They also travel with very reasonable travel fees...better than what I have seen out there. Our wedding was in San Clemente and we were able to workout a very reasonable travel for Ashley, Christin and their 2 assistants.I loved my LunaBella experience!

Ashley and Cristian made me look and feel amazing on my wedding day! Their services were priceless to me. Their communication and professionalism were only outshined by their ability to do hair and makeup. My hair and make up held for the whole event and I couldnt be happier. These ladies come highly recommended!

The stylist assigned to me for my big day didn't show but Ashley and Kristen totally came through and redeemed themselves! My hair and make-up was amazing and I got so many compliments on what a gorgeous bride I was. Thank you ladies for all of your help and attentiveness!

Ashley did my make-up for my wedding and it was amazing!! I originally met with another artist and was going to go with her since my husband did not want to go to another make-up trial. I never felt 100% at ease with the first artist because although she did a good job, it wasn't great. I had spoken with Ashley on the phone for a consultation but since we just couldn't schedule a time for a trial, I forgot about her. When she emailed, to check and see if I still needed her services, I felt it was a sign. I decided to just go with her since I saw her work online and I knew she was talented. Thank God I made that last minute decision because she made my wedding make-up dreams come true! It was exactly what I had pictured and totally made my day! Ashley is super talented and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a makeup artist to go with Ashley!

I hired Luna Bella Make-up for my wedding in September and they were such a pleasure to work with! Ashley was the one I corresponded with the most and she was so helpful and always got back to me in a timely fashion. Our artists were Brooklyn and Manny for hair and Danielle for make-up. We enjoyed our time with them so much! They were so professional and fun and everyone was thrilled with their end results. Ashley and Christin at LunaBella were an absolute delight to work with for my wedding. I could not have imagined a more calming hair and makeup experience! They are so truly talented and played an important part in what a blissful and relaxing day it was. The work Ashley does with makeup is such an art - I will always wonder just how she does it - and Christin was able to create the perfect updo by combining the pictures I brought in and my jumbled ideas about what I wanted. These girls are the best!!

Ashley and Christin at LBMA were lifesavers! I had no idea where to start with hair and makeup for myself or my wedding party and they were able to step in and take the lead. Not only were they flexible with payment (which, as we all know, is soooo helpful before a huge event like a wedding), but they were flexible with timing and my final look. LBMA allowed me to schedule my hair and makeup trial on the morning of my rehearsal dinner so I would look beautiful and feel my best at both events! I was astonished when I saw their work. I am not a girly girl that knows how to do makeup (or hair for that matter) but after my trial I was so elated that I had chosen this company for my wedding. My hair and makeup remained on all night for the rehearsal and looked great- even after copious amounts of wine. Also, all of the pictures of myself and my bridesmaids at the ceremony and reception show off the skills of LBMA because our hair and makeup were gorgeous throughout the event!

Ashley from Luna Bella was fabulous to work with. Booking was easy. I did no do a trial run and I loved the makeup she did for my wedding day! Bridesmaids and moms were very happy with her makeup as well! Thank you Ashley!!

I absolutely LOVE Ashley & Christin! They were so easy to work with and managed to squeeze my mother, sister & me in despite having another wedding the same day. My hair is curly & it is often difficult to find people I trust to style it, but I was in good hands considering how similar my hair is to Ashley's & Christin's. I didn't have time for a trial, so I sent pictures of a hair style and explained the type of make-up I wanted and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome!They work well with one another and have a positive, calming energy that is exactly what every bride needs on her wedding day!

I felt so pretty on my wedding day and I have to thank LunaBella for that! They were very flexible even when the venue changed from Santa Barbara to the LA area! Thank you so much!

Well, it's been about a month since our wedding, and the dust is settling but I would be extremely remiss before moving forward from the wedding without giving big time props to my artists at Luna Bella. Ashley and her partner were busy, so I was kind of worried about other girls doing my hair and make-up but Ashley assured me that the two girls who she would book would be fabulous. Being Japanese, Ashley thoughtfully hired a Japanese makeup artist from MAC, named Masami. Also she contracted Brookly to do my hair. I knew from my wedding trial day that I had nothing to worry about. They were extremely professional, fun, talented, on-time, and worked quickly. Yes! In a nutshell, they made me look fabulous and my photos turned out beautifully. Thank you LBMA. You ROCK!

Ashley and Christin did the most amazing, wonderful job on the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids. They listened to exactly what everyone wanted and proceeded to go above and beyond. All my girls looked incredibly beautiful and they made us all feel like a million bucks! So efficient and professional, and they are sooooo nice! I highly recommend them for your special day!!

I couldn't have asked for anyone better to do my hair and makeup. I had a tough time finding a vendor I could trust. I wanted my hair and makeup to be perfect! When I found Lunabella I was so happy. They took there time in helping me find the exact look I wanted for my wedding day. Not only did they make my hair and makeup perfect, but they did the same for my mother and bridesmaids.
