San Luis Jazz Band

The San Luis Jazz Band provided a great atmosphere for our party. They did a good job reading the crowd and keep the party moving. They had a great selection of hits and fit the mood perfectly.

SLJB was fabulous! We actually booked them without ever having heard them live. My father suggested them to us. They play everything, and are willing to learn songs (up to 5) for your big day. We wish they would have learned more, but we understand how much time goes into practicing. Everyone loved them and they kept the dance floor filled. They specialize in latin and jazz/swing, but we didn't get to hear any latin. Super professional and everyone comes dressed nicely. They have their own equipment and don't need any help setting up. Mitch Latting, the leader is a sweetheart and if you want something played right, these guys will get it done for you.

These guys were so good that a couple of our guests booked them for their events, too! They played lots of fun songs, got the guests dancing, and set a great atmosphere for our wedding. I'm so glad we spent our money on these guys and not a DJ. Did I mention they were great to work with?

They played a great variety of music without all the cheesy commentary that you sometimes get at weddings. They were easy to work with, played what we requested (and avoided what we didn't want played!), and kept the party going!
