Alma Rose is very passionate about what she does, but we had to keep reminding her of the details of our wedding which made me a little nervous. Her partner and photographer Kim was more on top of the details. You can’t beat the price for what you receive, but you really have to keep on top of them and expect little things to go wrong since it is a really laid back approach. Overall, I would recommend them

If you want a no stress wedding in Santa Barbara, Alma Rose is the best. She was absolutely terrific along with everyone else on her team...her husband, the photographer, the videographer. I couldn't ask for a nicer group of people and the "elegant" package did not disappoint! The flowers and my bouquet were gorgeous and I loved all the bling! We can't wait to see our final pictures! We had a small wedding but it had all the details of a big event and I would highly recommend Alma Rose!

me and my husband are from the uk and we found alma via the internet. I got in contact with her and from the off she was amazing. As it was only me and my husband attending the wedding I needed lots of help getting into my massive traditional english dress and kind alma offered me her home and the helping hand i needed. The ceremony was perfect in every way, little touchs that were special and unique, her and her husband did a fantastic job with the photos and they're our memories for life. We are hoping to return to california in a couple of years time and meet with alma again as she made our perfect dream day as perfect and wonderful as she could. Alma Rose married us on 02/19/2010 and it was one of the most magical days of my life! She instantly makes you feel relaxed with her easygoing personality and professionalism. She even came out to Los Angeles to marry us and we were so excited! The price is such a deal for all that she does - a beautiful ceremony that everyone will be talking about because her words & presentation are so lovely, the most gorgeous bridal bouquets, and tons of creative & gorgeous pictures. Alma Rose delivered way over our expectation and then some more! The ceremony was so special and all our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the ceremony was. Everything was Wonderful!! If you want your wedding ceremony to be memorable, romantic and beautiful...you really need to hire Alma Rose. You will not regret it!

Alma Rose made our wedding the most memorable, blessed event that we could have ever imagined. Everything went smoothly, the location was awesome, the ceremony itself, the words she used, the expressions she made - you can tell her entire heart goes into this. I cannot say enough about our special day - I am at a loss for words as my expectations were met way beyond what I imagined. Furthermore, the photographs are gorgeous, and they were very timely. My husband and I were looking for a simple, but classy ceremony for just the two of us. Weddings By the Sea gave us exactly that! The ceremony was perfect and Alma Rose and her photographer worked with us to capture many beautiful photos to share with our out-of-state family. Her price was the best compared to officiants in Orange County, CA. She and her photographer were professional and fun. The Santa Barbara Courthouse was the perfect venue. A very positive experience. Our wedding could not have been any better. :)

Alma did a great job catering to the needs of our wedding. We were able to pick a package that we wanted and substitute and add different things that we wished to incorporate without a hassle. The flower arraingments that she did for our arbor and the toss bouquet were perfect. She also decorated the beach isle with beautiful pedals and natural sea shells. I'm positive that she could easily substitute for anything that you prefer. She was very understanding regarding our marriage situation and how we wanted family members involved. One thing that I found as a little irritating was her lack of annunciating words. but the message she says is absolutely perfect. She did a marvelous job and I would highly reccomend her service to any new Bride and Groom.

She knows her stuff but I was somewhat disappointed with her the day of and the practice run. She was late to both occasions which I find unforgiveable. However, she had some really great ideas for the ceremony and I greatly appreciate that. She is a free spirit and unless you are too, beware.

Alma Rose exceeded our expections. From the moment we met her she made us feel so at ease and provided us with all the information we needed to plan our whole wedding. She was like an officiant and wedding planner in one. We would recommend her to anyone wanting a warm, personal ceremony. All the guests commented on how beautiful her ceremony was and how nice she was to all of our guests. I would recommend Alma Rose to anyone getting married in Santa Barbara. She is a true professional.

It is blowing me away that people actually liked this woman. She was HORRIBLE. She showed up to our wedding back in 2008 1 hour early thinking it was for the wrong time, rushed through our ceremony, messed up our unity sand colors without even asking me what color I would like since she was out of the color I had chosen, had a horrible PA system, skipped over 2 segments that were to be very vital to us in our ceremony. All because she had overlapped booking for her next wedding after messing up our time. She had said that we needed to get the wedding underway because she has to get to another wedding. SHE SAID THIS TO ME, the groom. You have got to be kidding me. She also at one point lost our certificate and never gave us any of the legal papers that we needed .Because of her we are now going to have a wedding renewal for our 5 year anniversary. I would never recommend her to ANYONE. What a waste of money.

I would recommend her to anyone wanting to elope, she was great!
