Your First Dance

We used Your First Dance for a group lesson/birthday party. We had 11 dancers in our group and 3 hours of time. Virginia (the dance instructor) did very well with working with the different levels of experience. She made everyone feel comfortable and we all felt that we learned a lot. After the lesson everyone felt they now have enough experience to go out and dance at group events (though we still have lots to learn).Virginia listened to my requests and prepared a very good lesson plan.My only complaint about the entire experience is there was a particular step I wanted to be introduced to the group but between miscommunication (each step has numerous names) and Virginia's own inexperience with the step, it did not get taught.Virginia was very flexible and was able to work the Saturday following Thanksgiving. I would definitely use Virginia again. I really enjoyed her ability to teach!

Great dance instructor. Was able to work with our schedule and time constraints and get us good enough to dance at our wedding. My husbands mom cried she loved it so much.

'Your First Dance' did a great job preparing my wife and I to dance at our daughter's wedding. Their one-on-one approach to teaching you how to dance in a relaxed setting with an award winning dance instructor made the process fun and the results great. I would recommend it to anyone, like myself, that has two left feet and not a lot of time to learn how to dance before a big event.
